Upper Nyack and Nyack are partnering on a joint community solar campaign for our residents and businesses.
Subscribing is easy, with no separate bill and no exit fees.
As a resident or business, you can subscribe to a local solar project and save up to 5% on your electric bill. Whether you rent or own your space, this is a way to benefit from solar without solar panels on the property.
Double down on your support for clean energy: The community solar program complements the Village clean energy program through the Rockland Community Power program. You can participate in both!
Accrue guaranteed savings on your electric bill: By subscribing to a community solar project, you add support for new local solar projects. At the same time, you also receive solar credits at a 5% discount, which provides guaranteed savings.
Help our villages reach our goals for climate funding! When you subscribe, your Village earns credits towards grant awards in NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Communities program.
Sign up with assurance: When you sign up for your Village Community Solar program, you subscribe to Meadow Energy -- the largest New York State solar farm operator with the longest track record.
